Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. My brother, sister-in-law and niece where able to come into town from Texas and it was great. They were here for 2 weeks and everyday was packed with excitment.
My mom, Maddie and I always go to the Nutcracker every Christmas and this year my sister-in-law(Jen) was able to come too. We were excited that she could share this tradition with us. The next day all of the boys went to the Seahawks game-don't have a pic of that but since they lost thats probably a good thing:)
Next was a little vacation in Leavenworth-super fun. Then Christmas Eve, Christmas and then a little after Christmas shopping. It was a wonderful time and I am so glad that they were able to come. We miss you-come back soon!!!

The kids Christmas morning...Maddie got a Karaoke machine, Jake a scooter and Luke a remote controlled car.

I think I love this pic just because they are all together. These pictures only come about once a year:(

Well...Santa pictures where not so much fun this year. Luke did NOT like Santa. I didn't get a good picture of it but Luke actually got in trouble by the photographer for hitting and trying to beat Santa up...oops
someone SAVE me!

So my mom HAD to have one more picture of the 4 of them together...can you guess how long it took to get one?
Miracles do happen:)

In earlier posts I'm sure I've mentioned that Luke and Morgan are exactly 2 weeks apart but very different in size. Here Luke was in timeout and Morgan came to join him. Luke weighs about 25 pounds and is a head or so taller..Morgan about 18 pounds.

Here is the whole gang on Christmas Eve...Thank you God for sending your son and giving me such an amazing family!!!

Leavenworth

We were very lucky this year and were able to take a little vacation before Christmas. We rented a house in Leavenworth and everyone was ready to have some fun in the snow...we did have fun but the snow forgot to join us! Unfortunatly it didn't snow at all while we were there and it was pretty icy by the time we left. We did manage to have a couple good snowball fights and do a few sled runs though.
The house we rented was brand new and had 3 levels. It was the 6 of us, my mom and dad, brother and his wife and daughter. I'm hoping that we can make this a yearly or every other year event-SO fun!!!

Here is the house

What is Lukes favorite thing to do you ask? Play with the dust buster! He would not leave it alone but at least it kept him busy!

No more room in the Inn...

Jake is LOVING preschool. He was very excited when he found out that his preschool was having a Christmas play. Jake was assigned the part of the Inn keeper. We borrowed a costume from our neighbors and he couldn't wait to get up and sing in front of everyone. He did a great job and was of course SO cute!

Too cute!
